High-load compatible seal that exhibits stable sealability under conditions of high peripheral velocity, high pressure and large pressure fluctuations. Since it employs a carbon idler ring that is almost bilaterally symmetrical, this seal is hardly affected by large pressure fluctuations. Flushing liquid running through the multiple apertures of the idler ring effectively eliminates heat generated by sliding.
